Schedules are sets of data; the question is: How do we make these data sets cohesive and memorable? 

Step 1:    Identify the essential information—free vs occupied  time in a day        
Step 2:    Make that information visually striking—find the best pattern to represent shared free time
This ideation explores the most impactful pattern to communicate shared free time. Circular forms appeared repeatedly among interviewees as a unique and aesthetic schedule representation.

This circular form lends itself to the form of a wall light.
